Realizing the commitment to develop the ASEAN energy system

On September 30, 2023, in Quang Nam province, Vietnam Electricity (EVN) organized the construction launch of the Monsoon – Thanh My 500kV transmission line project (section in Vietnamese territory), has realized the bilateral commitment to cooperation between the Governments of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and Lao People’s Democratic Republic in the field of energy system development. The Monsoon – Thanh My 500kV transmission line project was approved for the electricity import policy and the connection plan to Monsoon wind power plant (Laos) by the Prime Minister.

PC1 constructure technical infrastructure for the Metro Line no.02 Ben Thanh – Tham Luong

The Metro Line No.02 is a special project in the socio-economic development strategy of Ho Chi Minh City. PC1 Group and contractors will implement the technical infrastructure tasks of this project; With strong capacity in equipment, professional personnel and other resources, PC1 is determined to work closely with the project management board and related units to complete in the 1st quarter of 2025.

SPMB Energizing 220kV An Phuoc substation (Dong Nai)

At 21:30, on June 25, the Southern Power Projects Management Board (SPMB) coordinated with relevant units to energize An Phuoc 220kV substation and connection lines.

This is a grade I, group B energy project, invested by the National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT), managed and operated by SPMB, managed and operated by Power Transmission Company 4. PC1 is the main contractor, executing package No.7: Station construction and connection, including supply of first transportation of first equipment and materials connection and transport poles, conductors, insulators, accessories, OPGW optical cable of the connecting area to the project.

PC1 Group have completed the 220kV Kien Binh – Phu Quoc transmission line project ahead of schedule

The Kien Binh-Phu Quoc 220kV power line project is the first 220kV transmission line across the sea in Viet Nam. PC1 Group is in charge of 3 XL-04-XLHT biding packages. including: supply and installation of steel poles, single poles, construction of rope pulling from VT110-167, in which from position 110 to position 155 is 25km long sea. This is one of the national key projects to strengthen the electricity supply for Phu Quoc city, creating strong socio-economic changes and development in the islands, contributing to maintaining national security and defense for the South Sea of the country.

Congratulations PC1 – Hoang Mai successfully energized Chu Se 220 kV substation and connection line project.

At 9:50am on august 1st 2022, the Central Power Projects Management Board and PC1 – Hoang Mai (under PC1 Group) performed the acceptance and energization of Chu Se 220kV substation and connection line project at Ia Pal commune, Chu Se district, Gia Lai province. The project is one of the key constructions of the national power transmission system, in order to reduce the pressure on the high-voltage grid in the Central region.

After 11 months of continuous construction, the 500kV Chon Thanh substation in Chon Thanh district, Binh Phuoc province, of which EVN is investor and PCC1 is the main contractor, has been completed construction items and officially energized successfully at 6:55 am on September 2, 2020.

500 kV Song Hau - Duc Hoa transmission line is on the way to finish

Song Hau - Duc Hoa 500 kV transmission line which is invested by the National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT) is built for the purpose of transmitting the capacity of Song Hau 1 and Song Hau 2 power plants from the Southwest region to the loading center of Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring provinces. Currently, the first phase of the project is being accelerated by the Southern Power Project Management Board (SPMB) and related units to be completed in December 2019 as directed by EVNNPT.

Ninh Thuan: Energizing and raising capacity of 220 kV Thap Cham substation

The replacement of two existing 220/110/22 kV-125 MVA transformers with two 220/110/22 kV-250 MVA transformers will help release about 500 MW of the current electricity capacity of Ninh Province.

PCC1 signed a commitment to emulate the 500kV line circuit 3 projects

In the morning of September 13, at the administrative center of Quang Trach district (Quang Binh), Vietnam Electricity (EVN) held a launching ceremony of construction linkage emulation of 500kV transmission line circuit 3 Vung Ang – Quang Trach – Doc Soi – Pleiku 2. Attending the ceremony, there were Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung and leaders of ministries, central agencies and 9 provinces which have line going through.
