500kV Long Thanh Substation
Project overview
On December 02nd, 2022, PC1 Group successfully completed the acceptance and energization of the 500kV Long Thanh Substation project in Loc An commune, Long Thanh district, Dong Nai province, continuing to affirm its leading capability in Vietnam in the construction of national power transmission projects.
The 500kV Long Thanh Substation project is undertaken by the National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT), with PC1 Group as the main contractor.
Upon completion, the project ensures a safe and continuous power supply to the load in Dong Nai province, Ho Chi Minh City, and neighboring provinces. It meets the demands of economic and social development in the Southeast region, contributes to relieving the capacity of the Nhon Trach 3 thermal power plant, ensures N-1 criteria, enhances system stability, and improves the reliability and safety of power supply to the regional grid.
