PC1 Group have completed the 220kV Kien Binh – Phu Quoc transmission line project ahead of schedule

The Kien Binh-Phu Quoc 220kV power line project is the first 220kV transmission line across the sea in Viet Nam. PC1 Group is in charge of 3 XL-04-XLHT biding packages. including: supply and installation of steel poles, single poles, construction of rope pulling from VT110-167, in which from position 110 to position 155 is 25km long sea. This is one of the national key projects to strengthen the electricity supply for Phu Quoc city, creating strong socio-economic changes and development in the islands, contributing to maintaining national security and defense for the South Sea of the country.

Started in March 2019, with a line length of 80.4km, 117 positions at sea and 53 positions on shore; along with the 110kV line component projects on Phu Quoc island district. Realizing that this project is one of the special construction sites with many inclement weather and challenging construction conditions, PC1 Group directed the maximum concentration of human resources and equipment to speed up the construction progress, provision for rainy & windy weather conditions, towards the goal of completing the project with safety, quality to hand over EVN.

Last weekend, Mr Vo Hong Quang – Deputy General Director of PC1, Construction Manager – Electrical went directly to the construction site to review the quality and progress of the project. This working trip of the Group’s Board of Directors was the attention and encouragement to the site engineers of PC1.
