On May 28, 2020, Vestas Asia Pacific Singapore announced that Vestas has signed the largest order in Vietnam to date, with a total capacity of 144MW for three wind power projects including Lien Lap, Phong Huy and Phong Nguyen; the investor is Power Construction Joint Stock Company No.1 (PCC1) in cooperation with RENOVA, Inc., a Japanese renewable energy company.
Accordingly, Vestas will provide, transport, install and operate a total of 36 V150-4.2 MW wind turbines at installed capacity of 4.0 MW in order to maximize the power output for all three projects.
This new order brings Vestas' total order capacity in 2020 in Vietnam to over 300 MW.

Three wind power projects are currently being implemented and are expected to come into operation in the third quarter of 2021.
