On the evening of October 6, Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hanoi held the launching of Peak Month "For the Poor" and social security in 2020. Power Construction Joint Stock Company No. 1 was honored to be praised for its contributions to the community.

Attending the ceremony was Mr. Vuong Dinh Hue, member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, and Party Central Committee members; representatives of some central agencies, leaders of departments and committees; representatives of agencies, enterprises in the city and 90 typical organizations, businesses, philanthropists.
With the motto "No poor people will be left behind", the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels of city has actively propagated, mobilized and supported the "For the poor" fund with the amount of over 15 billion VND. Up to now, the poverty rate of the city is only 0.4% and is a typical unit in poverty reduction and implementation of the national target program of the country.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Hanoi City People's Committee- Chairman Chu Ngoc Anh acknowledged, highly appreciated and praised industries, levels, enterprises , businessmen, and all classes of people for enthusiastically responding, actively participating and making practical contributions to the sustainable poverty reduction and social security of the city in recent years.
Having a contribution in it, Power Construction Joint Stock Company No.1 is honored to be one of 90 enterprises, philanthropists that was praised at the ceremony by its contributions in social work in all 3 criteria including contribution to the city's fund for the poor, Vietnam sea and island fund and support for Covid-19 epidemic prevention.
Over the years, Power Construction Joint Stock Company No.1 has always been a pioneer in implementing a series of social security tasks and is highly appreciated by the authorities with more than 5.4 billion VND in cash and material support in upland district of Cao Bang province; visiting, giving gifts to the people in the Central region suffering from natural disasters and floods; supporting the Vietnam Coast Guard and Fisheries Surveillance; donating VND 500 million to join hands with the whole country to prevent Covid-19. In 2020, PCC1 also conducted voluntary activities to give gifts in Bao Lac district, Cao Bang province and Huong Hoa district, Quang Tri province with the total value of about 500 million dongs.
In the coming time, Power Construction Joint Stock Company No.1 will continue to accompany localities in social security work, solving local labor, contributing to the economic development of the whole country.
