On November 8, 2019, Power Construction Joint Stock Company No. 1 (PCC1) officially signed the EPC package contract - Designing, supplying goods and constructing transmission lines and substation of Tra Vinh Wind Power Plant Project at Con Trung hamlet, Truong Long Hoa commune, Duyen Hai town, Tra Vinh province with a total contract value of over 12.5 million USD.
The project includes one 110kV substation and the entire 110kV overhead transmission line, 22kV underground cable line connecting wind turbines to 110kV substation.
The package belongs to Tra Vinh Wind Power Plant Project of which the investor is invested by Tra Vinh Wind Power one member limited liability No.1, and Danish Vestas is general contractor.
Tra Vinh wind power plant is built on an area of about 1,200 hectares of water surface and land, with 12 wind turbines, capacity of 48 MW, power supply of over 180 million KW / hour. The total investment capital of the project is over VND 2,400 billion (equivalent to USD 120 million). It is expected that the construction of Tra Vinh wind power plant will be completed by the end of the fourth quarter of 2020.
Phase 2 of the project with the capacity of 96 MW, output of more than 332,438 MWh / year, a total water surface area of 2,445 ha and 2.5 ha of land area for construction of the project operator, total investment capital of more than VND 4.952 billion (equivalent to more than 247.6 million USD) will continue to be deployed when eligible.
Tra Vinh wind power plant project is a project to develop clean energy sources built to develop wind power in Tra Vinh province, to help ensuring national energy security; as well as to promote the socio-economic development of the locality.
