PC1 Group has been and will continue to promote the development of the Energy industry in Quang Tri. This is also the message that PC1 shared at the Workshop "Quang Tri: Realizing the Central Energy Center's vision", held on September 7, 2022, organized by Industry and Trade Newspaper and Department of Industry and Trade.
Quang Tri, a land that converges all the factors of "heavenly time - favorable terrain - human harmony" to develop energy. In terms of resources, Quang Tri has western high mountains for wind development, offshore gas fields (Ken Bau gas field, Bao Vang gas field) have large reserves and many other potential areas. In terms of location, this is an important gateway of the East-West economic corridor, allowing Quang Tri to become a major trading center, including industry and energy trade. Especially through this conference, policies and solutions will be discussed by the Government, managers and experts, contributing to soon bringing Quang Tri to "reach the finish line" to become the Central Energy Center in particular and country in general.
Participating in the seminar as an energy investor, PC1 is determined to join forces with the Government and Quang Tri Province to realize the goal by 2030, to build Quang Tri into an energy center of the Central region on the basis of development of energy in a sustainable way, utilizing and effectively using the potential of renewable energy.
Currently, the cluster of 3 wind power plants Lien Lap, Phong Huy and Phong Nguyen, invested and operated by PC1 and Renova, has contributed 400 million kWh of output to the national power grid each year. In the coming time (period 2022 - 2030, vision 2035), PC1 will continue to research and invest in strongly developing renewable energy and low-carbon energy projects in Quang Tri in particular and Vietnam in general.
